VIDEOGAME MARKETING WORKSHOPS

During my career I’ve been compiling many lessons learned from the projects I’ve been involved in. With those I have created a course and a workshop that aims to cover the most relevant aspects related to communication / marketing, distribution and funding models for independent game developers. Those are my main goals with this workshop: Integrate the communication/marketing of the product along with its development. Identify the target audience of the game and design a communication strategy that suits it the best. Learn to use social networks and social media tools. How to talk to the press and to your audience […]

Horizon Chase (2015, Aquiris Game Studio)

Horizon Chase is a modern take on the 90s old-school racers that we loved the most such as Out Run or Top Gear. Controls are very straightforward and comfortable, providing an exciting arcade experience. Composed by Barry Leitch (Top Gear, Lotus and Rush series), the soundtrack is uniquely techno-inspired and energetic. What really sets Horizon Chase apart from other racing games is the blend of its arcade style and the strong sense of actual exploration and discovery that the […]

Every shape in Flat Kingdom beats the opposite, so sharp triangles can defeat the soft circles, heavy squares beat the fragile triangles and squishy circles can triumph over the slow squares. Both enemies and puzzles can be beaten using the correct shape and strategy, so you’ll have to observe them and come up with the […]
